At organic dining JINQ, I will teach you how to make a Bento box with seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
Japanese people make Bento box in any occasion like when we go on a trip and when we go for work.
A Bento box consists of so much variety of food items, from fish to meat, rice to vegetables. It is well-balanced and colorful. It is mom’s taste and part of Japanese culture.
Onigiri rice ball shaped like Mt.Fuji, roll sushi using Mt.Fuji salmon (trout), grilled egg using free-range eggs etc.. You will experience the Bento Box making with local ingredients at our restaurant in a renovated Japanese style house. After the experience, we will eat the Bento Box together with local organic green tea.
We can maybe go on a picnic to a shrine nearby if it’s sunny!
