We'll gather in my home kitchen to make 3 Thai desserts and sweets that has been around for generations.
We will start off this experience by learning about the ingredients. Then we will go on the various desserts by step:
1. Making CHOR MUANG (Stuffed flower-shaped dumplings with chicken) eaten as starters or savoury dessert in Thai cuisine. You will learn how to make flower-shaped and indigo coloring from the Anchan (Butterfly Pea) flower.
2. Making your own KLEEB LAMDUAN (Thai Shortbread Cookies) Kleeb Lamduan cookies are uniquely made by infused aroma with a Tian Op or Thai scented candle.
3. Making very famous Thai sweets Khao Niaow Ma Muang (Mango sticky rice) in a shape of roses for a modern style dish and ready to take a photos!
*For the 1st & 2nd dish, we will go through all the process of cooking the desserts. For the 3rd, I will provide steamed sticky rice and you will learn how to cut and decorate mango in a shape of roses .
Finally, you will taste your creations with a bowl of tea or Thai herbal drink. If you cannot finish the sweets you can take them with you in a box.
