On this overnight trip you'll venture into the Tuscan countryside and explore the quaint town of Vinci - just a short distance from Florence, the dreamy slopes of the Montalbano Hills and picturesque medieval hamlet that da Vinci called home feel like a world away from the busy Tuscan capital. On the first day, you'll meet our tour leader in Empoli and transfer to the nearby town of Vinci. After a welcome talk and settling in at Il Piastrino, a farm and winery estate (and your home for the night), our guide will lead you by foot through farmland and forests, olive groves and vineyards, before returning to our Tuscan agriturismo for a home-cooked dinner in this very special location. The next day, spend some time exploring the town on your own before continuing on your journey through Italy. Vinci hosts two world-class museums on the life and works of the renowned Renaissance Man.
