We'll begin with a short walking tour of Roncesvalles Village to show you the variety of shops and restaurants in this vibrant area on the west side of downtown Toronto. Maybe we'll buy some fresh ingredients along the way to use in your class and we'll tell you a little about the history of our neighbourhood.
Next, we'll arrive at our spacious loft apartment and have some coffee, tea or a cold drink while we get ready to bake.
LeRoy will demonstrate the stages and technique of making perfect, crusty, buttery croissant dough and give you guidance as you practice making it yourself. We will then roll out the croissants and bake them and then transform the baked croissants with a decadent almond cream filling.
