The aim of this is to give you my experience of cold water hardening and to show you what benefits it can bring to your physical and mental health. Moreover, it will be fun. I'll pick up by car and take you a little further against the Vltava river, where the water is cleaner. Before we go into the water, there will be briefing and preparatory exercise in the form of breathing. I'll tell you all about what the Wim Hoff method is and what it is for. Together we will perform a breathing exercise that will help you feel comfortable. I will teach you how to stay calm enough to make it easy in the water and enjoy it. After doing the exercise, nothing will stop us from getting into our swimsuit and slowly sinking into the water. We'll stay near the shore and no swim. During your stay in the water your brain receives a signal about an emergency so you need to "survive" and think consciously. Therefore you need to calm down. If you do that and relax your body according to the instructions, cold will leave you and you'll easily handle to stay there for 3 minutes. As soon as we get out of the water, all over your body is like on fire. Now it is time to dry quickly, get dressed and head back to the car. Since metabolism works very quickly in this state, we will then go together for a great and hot soup to the local eatery, where we get warm and i can share you some local hints. Howg

I suffered illnesses like a flu, cold, runny nose and cough since i was child. It repeated every year when the winter has came. In my early 20' i started with hardening in the shower. Short while after this me and my fellows had the idea to jump in the river on Christmas Eve. We survived. From this moment i started go to stone cold water regulary, at least once a week. Then saw document on the Vox about "ice man" Wim Hoff and learn myself his method. Cold water hardening just became my passion.

You don't have to be worry about your health at all, because you can go out of water whenever you want. The place where we go has calm water and river is shallow there. I also bring extra blanket to keep you warm after leaving the water. You also don't have to be trained to doing this.
