We are Alley Kat Adventures: an Austin, Texas based global event design company. Host of many extreme city wide scavenger hunts in North America, founder Kat has handcrafted custom adventures for 1000 guests at once for major companies from Amazon to Facebook. Her Houston hunt was featured in a Greyhound commercial.
Originally from SC, Kat is naturally hospitable. A former teacher with a MED & National Board certification, Kat is a public speaker and SAG actor with national principal print, film, & TV credits. She has led marketing teams for major brands.
Alley Kat Adventures cohosts: Michelle is a teacher & SAG/EQUITY actor with national theatre & TV credits. Emily is an actor with an extensive resume and a Texas horseback rider & trail guide. Karina is an actor and event manager specializing in experiential marketing.

I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest. My husband and I booked this as part of my birthday celebration. We came out of the experience still laughing, and really feeling like we had shared a call with close friends. It allowed us to jump outside of our comfort zones (him more than me) and open up to "strangers". We got creative, we shared stories and we laughed. I would recommend this if you're looking for a new way to get in touch with your silly side. Definitely recommend for families and team building.

Well I never met Kat or Alan so I would say the issues started right there. This was farmed out to another person (Emily the Country Countess?), which I was not told about in advance. This was a corporate event that had 51 people and it was too much for one host to handle. It was chaotic at the beginning of the event. The host was writing down everyone's names as they came into event, and then trying to put them onto team. No one knew which team they were on and it was very confusing. This was NOTHING like what was described on AirBNB or paid for. We have done other scavenger hunts and this was by far the worst overall experience. This was not professional. The host did her best, but she was overwhelmed and it did not feel natural at all. It was awkward at best. I have done other AirBNB experiences but this one was really bad. I felt like this was handed over to a babysitter since the parents were too busy with something else. Really disappointed.

Perfectly fun event for a diverse group of people. Other than working together, our team doesn't always interact on a personal level. This was especially good to do since we haven't seen each other in person for over a year. The host was absolutely wonderful - funny, engaging, and has a real knack for relating to our group.

Highly recommend this experience! It was so much fun and Emily was an incredible hostess, her upbeat attitude and clear instructions made this such a special activity for my 30th birthday. My family and friends really enjoyed the whole thing :)
