Do you have a story inside of you waiting to come out? Maybe you have a character formed in your mind, or the premise of an intriguing tale, but you're not sure how to put it down on paper and turn it into a full book. Or maybe you want to write a book, but you don't know where to start.
All stories have a beginning, middle and end, and all stories follow a pattern. Together, we will brainstorm your idea, create dynamic characters that are larger than life, and learn the key components that go into a fully completed novel or screenplay.
This is an online experience, so an internet connection is needed. Other than that you'll just need pen and paper and of course, creativity. Allow for 60-80 minutes.

Katy provided some very practical tips on how to get that story down on paper! She shared her experience of writing, discussing characters and plot line structure. My husband signed us up for this course as a Christmas present for me this year. We have both been toying with the idea of writing a book and wanted to take it more seriously. Our class with Katy was fantastic - she paid careful attention to each of our ideas (which were quite different) and had prepared useful thought exercises to help us develop our characters and plot lines. Katy did a great job making us feel comfortable and motivated.
