I pick you up in Lisbon at a meeting point in the center and head West on board of a confortable 9 seat van. Heading west, we leave Lisbon to the top of Montejunto mountain, a hidden gem at the doors of Lisbon that even the people from Lisbon don't know well. This mountain is known as the balcony of Extremadura because the astonishing view from the top. At the top, we meet our good friend Carlos waiting for us at his windmill recovered by his uncle on the old fashion way. We start the experience with a explanation and discovery of the functioning of a Windmill, followed by putting the sails out and start graining our own flower (Depends on the wheather conditions). With our flower we start the process of doing our own bread followed by putting all the breads on a special wood oven (old fashion way). During all this "work" Carlos already had a marvellous "Portuguese cozido" made inside the same wood oven, the food come to the table inside a bread cooked at the oven. Meanwhile our bread is cooking we lunch this delicious portuguese food in a incredible place upon the Tagus fields and it's incredible sightseeing. After lunch we take our bread already made and return to Lisbon.

Besides i'm from Lisbon, i'm in love by the West Region of Portugal and for its gastronomy, beauty, traditions and wine. From more than 12 years that i live in this region, i'm an environmental engineer, working in water treatment and renewable energies. In parallel of the engineering , in 2017 i opened a tourism company and definitly discovered my passion of sharing the traditions and knowledge about my country and this specific region. For years that i study the traditions, wines and gastronomy of the west region, i'm very passionate by food and wine and the "science" of pairing both.
