We ride all through the year and we're winterproof. In a small group, we'll explore two areas of London - the historic square mile of the City and vibrant & creative East London taking in 2,000 years of history in Roman London, through to re-generated and gentrified 'hipster' side of London where the street art paint is still wet and English isn't the first language of many residents. As we ride, I will tell you lots of legends and stories about the characters who have shaped London history. This ride is for you if: - you want to see the historic neighbourhoods where people have lived and worked for centuries - sitting on a tour bus is too passive - you prefer to go off the beaten path and see the alternative sights of London (though we do get the best views of the Bridge over the River) - you want to engage with a real Londoner who can give you honest opinions on all aspects of British life You'll ride my personal collection of bikes, including the option to ride one of my bamboo mountain bikes or one of my carefully curated vintage town bikes. We'll move onto some of my favourite neighbourhood spots, including iconic London markets depending on the day of the week
