Mitä teet

On arrival we will create a personalised yoga/ pilates session depending on your needs. Gentle music plays as we begin. The session will be an hour. Afterwards we spend time sitting quietly visualising and mindfulness meditation. You have a choice for this to be in silence or a guided mediation. After the session light refreshments will be served and we shall enjoy each others company. If its a beautiful day we can practise on the verandah surrounded by trees and tranquility. If cold then obviously inside. Yoga is not just exercise. In these sessions you are guaranteed to feel lighter and brighter and enjoy the beauty of the mountains at my door step. I have been teaching in the corporate world for a few years. In offices and gyms until I discovered a more private way to share this remarkable healing form of exercising and calming the mind. I can teach absolute beginners to intermediate.I have trained in Sivananda, hatha, iyengar, Astanga, Oki , Yin , Yang and Bikram forms of yoga. I also have performed in a yoga dance troupe which was incredible. Sessions can be booked for the morning or afternoon. They last 2 hours, and can start at 8am to 10am or Sunset 6pm to 8pm

I live in the glorious blue mountains, and offer a specified yoga/pilates/pranayama practise with guided visualisations to begin your day or after you have finished your day of sightseeing. Stay and enjoy light refreshments afterwards. I became a yoga teacher in 1999 in India after practising for ten years before going to an intensive course in South India. I have been practising yoga for 28 years and studied worldwide.The power of yoga is never to be underestimated. I find most teachers teach the same poses over and over! There are about 2000 to choose from and I design a practise for your needs.I use music to inspire the flow of the class and Im also a professional singer and enjoy singing sanskrit chants to end the practise whilst you relax in final relaxation pose. It will take place in the a peace filled home, 8 minutes walk from centre of katoomba. or 2 minute taxi ride from outside katoomba station. Pick up and drop off can be arranged if in Katoomba, Leura or Wentworth falls. Or a lift from Ktown station. A clean and inviting space. Most guests comment on the good vibes they feel when entering. Warm and comfortable. Classes usually take place outside on a spacious verandah. Mats, props & music provided

To awake fresh is best, if your session is the morning yoga session then have a snack : Banana, and protein bar, or toast and nut butter . Don't eat a heavy breakfast before practising. High protein is good. I always enjoy a cup of good quality organic coffee before my practise too.
