Hermanus, nestled in the Overberg between mountains and the ocean, is a natural gem with many beautiful spots to visit. During this experience, we will visit some favourite spots for a relaxed photo shoot and as a conservationist, I will also tell you more about Hermanus' natural environment. Hermanus is a beautiful backdrop for family, individual and couple photos and the photos we take will be a great reminder of your time in Hermanus/ South Africa.

I’m a professional photographer based in Hermanus, South Africa. Growing up in this natural diverse town sparked my love for nature and in turn led me to obtain a degree as a conservationist. My surroundings also inspired me to enter the field of landscape photography. I later developed an interest in photographing people when I starting working in wedding photography. My co-host, Annie, also raised and based in Hermanus, is a full-time portrait artist. She assists me on photoshoots where she applies her artistic talents and eye for detail. She will also focus on French communication for our guests who prefer doing the experience in French.

We will start at Fernkloof Nature Reserve where we will be taking photos in the small botanical garden, with its Fynbos and beautiful trees, at the beginning of the reserve. Thereafter we'll move on to the coastline where we'll continue our photo shoot under the Milkwood trees that form part of our natural coastal forests. We'll end with a sunset photo shoot at one of Hermanus' secluded beaches.
