My husband and I have lived in Palm Springs for over 6 years and know most of mid- century structures in town; and are curious foodies, with some high expectations!
We can customize your adventure to your specific interests, or we are also happy to lead the way without any input.
Let's start with the best coffee in town at a Hugh Kaptur building; swing by the Albert Frye "former" gas station; and nobody wants to miss the Donald Wexler glass and steel houses.
As for food, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the range of cuisines and prices (and bars) in a town of only 44,000 people.

My name is Barry; my husband Ron and I have toured friends in Palm Springs for 5 years; and we are passionate architecture (mid- century modern in particular) aficionados, and curious, experienced foodies.
We want to customize this adventure to your specific interests, although we're happy to lead the way without ANY input!
We know the world- famous mid-century structures, and you can choose to drive by, and hear about just "the best-of-the-best," or tour dozens for hours!
We can add the best coffee in town - in a Hugh Kaptur building - see Donald Wexler's glass-and-steel houses,and Albert Frey's gas station (!), now the Palm Springs Visitor Center.
And food...for a town of only 45,000 you'll be pleasantly surprised at the range of cuisines...and price ranges.
