This lovely apartment is above our garage, so you can come and go as you please. It's a great place to create peace and solitude, as you look out the dining room window into the woods. There is coffee and tea available to enjoy in local created mugs, depicting the local area. There are basic breakfast supplies in the fridge. Keyless entry allows for you to come anytime after check-in.

You can hike through the woods for about a mile, to a lake and sit on the shoreline, soaking up the peace and quiet. We intentionally don't have a TV in the apartment, as we want to create space to relax, although there is wifi available.

I have created a folder of local things to do. Our favorite spot is a 30min drive down the peninsula to Pemaquid lighthouse. You can walk on the rocks, play at the beach and visit the local restaurant there. Damariscotta Lake State Park is only a 7min drive from our home and it's a perfect day to spend by the lake and enjoy ice cream at the local Jefferson Scoop. Or you can simply wander through the quaint village of Damariscotta, shopping, dining or grabbing a cup of coffee and can you walk through town, enjoying the waterfront of the Damariscotta River.
