The Loft is a stylish open plan studio flat including kitchen, bathroom, lounge, covered deck, private garden, spa pool and swimming pool.

Guests get excusive use of the pool and spa while on the propery.

Ideal for a couples retreat or to spend some quality time with a friend.

The Loft is on a 2 acre residential property. Ring fenced by shelter belts and nestled in amongst mature planting. Complete privacy and seclusion.

The subtle floor plan allows for some privacy if the queen sofa bed is required. A privacy curtain further separates the spaces.

For singles staying there is a choice of the Californian King and Queen sofa bed, or the Cali King can be split into 2 King Singles. Please let us know your preference on booking.

Enjoy relaxing in and around the pool on the floating bean bags, hammock or covered pool house. Enjoy evenings under the stars in the spa pool.

Wake up to the sound of bird call from your dreamy Californian King bed.

Perfect for a luxurious get away, while close to all the attractions the Bay of Islands and Far North has to offer.

The Loft is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood.

2:5 km from Kerikeri centre, a half hour stroll along the pathway into town. The township offers a huge array of take aways, cafes and restaurants of most cuisines. Wander around the boutique shops and Sunday market.

Within 1.5km (15 min stroll) is the amazing Saturday Old Pack House Market, Makana Chocolate Factory and Cafe, and The Honey House.

The historic Stone Store is 4.5km from The Loft. Here there are intriguing tours of the earliest European settlement in New Zealand. Plus Maori pa and Rewa's Maori village.

The Stone Store is nestled in the Kerikeri Basin and domain where free BBQ faciities are available. A number of cafes and restaurants are located here. Short to long stunning bush walks start at the Stone Store basin. Kerikeri is spoilt for choice for beautiful walks.

Never too far afield are plenty of options of boat ramps to get you out onto the Bay of Islands.

To keep the kids amused there is a Jump, movie theaters, mini golf, golf driving range & archery, and Charlie's Rock, Waitangi Adventure Park...

If you're an ice cream lover pop out to the blueberry ice cream place off State Highway 10 just north of Waipapa, follow the signs, yummy! If you're really up for a challenge visit Highway 10 Takeaways by the BP in Waipapa. You will never see that much ice cream piled on top of a cone! The wall displays the NZ celebs who have taken up the challenge. Warning, go on an empty tummy!

There are 2 supermarkets in Kerikeri, plus a 4 Square food market out at Waipapa. The numerous vege stalls and weekend markets are an affordable way to buy fresh local produce. Churchills butchery offers quality meat products in Kerikeri and Waipapa. The Waipapa retail park has the large chain stores and The Warehouse.

Within half an hour drive you have access to beautiful golf courses, the Twin Coast cycle trail, Waitangi Mountain Biking Park, vineyards, craft beers and restaurants, historic Russell, Waitangi culture centre, Paihia (dolfin watching, boat trips, adrenalin activites, kayaking, SUP), walks, tramps, stunning beaches, surfing, fishing......

Watch out for local events. There's often something on to emmerse yourself in the local culture. Kainui Road Vineyard and Brewery host summer concerts and events - well worth investigating if that fits into your schedule.

The Turner Centre is a world class auditorium offering both performing and visual arts. Look up concerts or performances which may suit your tastes during your stay in Kerikeri.

Further afield trips to the Hokianga and Far North are highly recommended. Either head out on your own or book a tour.

Try taking the Twin Coast Discovery routes, these roads offer an alternative diversion along the east and west coasts of Northland with stunning scenery and places to stop for a rest.

We're a family of 4 enjoying the amazing lifestyle Northland New Zealand has to offer.

We host The Loft on our property and get a real kick from providing a relaxing retreat for busy people with busy lives. We love meeting our guests from all over New Zealand and the world.

Meeting all these lovely people and hearing their amazing experiences is rekindling our love of travel and we're looking forward to many more experience as a couple as the darlings prepare to fly the coop.
