Bella's Bungalow is a seasonal cottage with a heat-pump for "shoulder-season" heating and cooling on the occasional summer days when there is no cooling ocean breeze. It is a simple design. Upstairs is one large bedroom on the second floor with 1 King Bed and 2 singles with beautiful views of the Harbor across the Street. Downstairs offers a large living space with comfy couch and 2 daybeds for lazy afternoons reading, 1 bathroom, and a large eat-in Kitchen looking out onto the ocean. Downtown Rockland is a 20-minute drive with many restaurants, and shops to browse. With the Farnsworth Museum, Lighthouse Museum, Owls Head Transportation Museum, beaches and many other attractions close by, you will not be bored!

One mile south is Drift Inn beach, which is a beautiful sandy beach at low tide. Further down that road is the iconic Marshall Point Light, made famous by the movie Forest Gump. The lighthouse is a short drive from the fishing village of Port Clyde, where you can take the Monhegan Boat Lines ferry to Monhegan Island.

North on Route 131 is the village of Tenants Harbor, offering several restaurants and small shops, as well as some of the views portrayed by Andrew and Jamie Wyeth, painted at their family home on Southern Island at the approach to the harbor.
