This flat is one of 3 minimal Showa style apartments near Shinjuku. It is a small Studio type apartment 16㎡ plus a Loft space to sleep. You get Home WIFI, compact Kitchen, Loft area, Bathroom, and Toilet in this apartment best for 2-4 people (up to 5 people). For 5th person, we can provide additional futon on the floor but this will take up floor space as it is a small apartment. To Shinjuku it is only 6mins ride in two stops from Daitabashi station which is nearest station from this apartment.

This flat is small but clean studio unit with kitchenette, bathroom & toilet, and AC. It has a great feeling of Showa Era located near Shinjuku (6 mins ride) and Shibuya (just over 15 mins) or walk 45 minutes or more. You can get to the Daitabashi Train station area in 4-5 mins just across the main road. The flat is located in a real Tokyo neighborhood friendly atmosphere. There is a fresh supermarket, Obento shops, and local cafes, restaurant around!
The apartment is one room (16㎡) with a separate Loft area which can be access with the ladder. There is a double bed in the main common area.
We have Loft space with semi-double type futon (120*200) for up to 2 people and a double bed for 2 people.
If you are 5 people, we will prepare one single futon set. So, help yourself to make the bed on the floor.
There is a kitchenette with a sink, fridge, kettle, microwave and small pan if you would like to prepare anything in the apartment, although there are many good small restaurants and eateries in the neighborhood.
The bathroom has a Japanese style tub and a shower; we provide soap, shampoo and conditioner of our local selection.
It is a pretty small studio, but if you use this flat just to sleep and get ready to go sightseeing rather than staying all day then it is very cost effective!
The whole place is yours although it is not big enough to get lost in this apartment!
Moreover, lots of cute little traditional tavern 'Izakaya' on the way from the station just stop in for a quick bite and a drink or stay and chat with the friendly owners and patrons.
The neighborhood is full of amenities 2 supermarkets, many convenience stores, Coin Laundry on the corner, and a public SPA (Sento) also on the corner it is about 500JPY to make use of it! (Thursdays are closed)
There are 3 apartments for Airbnb in the same retreat building if you are looking for more space and rooms in the same building.

The neighbourhood is full of amenities supermarkets, many convenience stores, coin laundry on the corner, and a public SPA (sento bath) also on the corner!
There are little bars in the neighborhood to try, or more extensive nightlife is very close to Shinjuku or Shibuya. Omotesando is also nearby which is a great shopping area. The unit's area offers an easy trip to many museums and galleries around Tokyo.

I was born and raised in Tokyo. I enjoy travelling both domestically and globally. I can give you good tips about travelling in Japan. Recently, I am into renovation of houses and apartments, especially in the way that ecological and renewable energy is adopted into conventional house. In terms of hobby, I play sports. Rugby football (mostly Touch Rugby though) and Aikido mainly.
I love outdoor activities. I go camping regularly to some islands off Pacific or Hokkaido in Japan.
Awakened up for spiritual world since spring 2013. :D Started to yoga and meditation recently. This has been keeping me pretty energetic and clear.
We have western rooms with beds and Japanese room with tatami with Futon mattress.
I try to provide casual open welcoming atmosphere but comfortable clean rooms so that you will have a great memory of your visit.

Importantly I try to protect the diminishing nature and make the urban environment greener and less hostile to all living by planting trees and seeds for flowers etc. I hope the concrete jungle Tokyo(and Japanese towns in general) will be more green and natural and welcoming for human habitation. This is what I put some energy. You will see the greenery around the premise.
