Visiting Notre Dame or South Bend? Find modern style in one of South Bend's hippest neighborhoods, the East Race district. Once a factory building, the space has been transformed into a loft featuring exposed brick, concrete pillars, and 14-foot ceilings. Wall-to-wall windows overlook the Saint Joseph River and the South Bend skyline. Most furnishing are less than a year old. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Less than two miles from Notre Dame's campus.

Tall ceilings, large windows, and an old building mean climate control can be a challenge when the weather outside is extreme. The temperature typically ranges from 65-75, and I understand this range is comfortable for some and not for others. I recently installed insulated drapery, which can help keep the space cool in the summer and warmer in the winter. The A/C works very well, and there are space heaters to supplement the building's heat system if necessary.
