Lake view heated pool and hot tub! (Pool closed from October to April) Located 5 mins walking distance to the beach (basically in front of house, 2 rows down). House is diverse mobility equipped with lifts, ramps and more. Message for details.

Our home can accommodate up to 6 adults which is a city bylaw (so 3 families -there are NO LIMITS on children) Additional cleaning measures in place for COVID. Built in 2019-2020, this house at beautiful McKinley Beach, Kelowna is situated in 872 Acre neighborhood of natural Okanagan landscape that happens to be only 10 minutes to Kelowna's down town core. The neighborhood has a kilometre of beachfront to stroll along, great for swimming, canoeing, boating and paddle boarding. Additionally there are hiking, biking trails and an outdoor gym.

Our home is located EXACTLY 55 mins to EITHER Big White Ski Resort and Silver Star Ski Resort . Save the cost of expensive chalet rentals!! Never worry about your neighbour throwing a party which is common at the ski hill resort rentals.

Drive 10 minutes into Kelowna to visit museums, browse amazing boutiques, grab a seasonal beer at a craft brewery or enjoy a farm to table fresh meal. With over 40 wineries within a 20 minute drive from town, you're sure to take in gorgeous views while sipping on a variety of vintages! Averaging over 2000 hours of sun every year, Kelowna offers one of the longest, driest golf seasons in Canada. There are many golf courses within a 10-20 minute drive from our home! Kelowna also offers many family friendly activities such as the Kangaroo Farm, Scandia Golf and Games, Energyplex, Jump 2 It, Myra Canyon, Oyama Zipline, Davidson Family Orchards and much more!

During your stay between April and October, a golf cart can be made available at no fee to make your trip down to our neighborhood beach quick and easy. **You are fiscally responsible for any damages to the golf cart.

** Diverse mobility features** No stairs to front door, ceiling tracks installed for lifts in sleep room #2 track to bathroom tub, automated lift from deck to pool, manual lift in to the pool, large walk in shower with bench, message me for more pictures or any questions **ceiling track installed however lift not included due to maintenance regulations, makes more sense to rent each time or bring your own, compatible with all lift systems. Lots of rental companies available in Kelowna carry them. Happy to pick up items and have them at the house upon your arrival :)

Includes: Stunning lake view pool with lots of sun, large lounge chairs, 2 patio furniture sets, hot tub, large fully equipt kitchen, dining room, laundry, living room plus rec room, Telus high speed wifi internet 300, TV (sign in to your own streaming accounts contact me if you wish to have access to ours), Sono's wifi speakers inside and pool side, gaming system, bbq , blinds on all windows in sleeping spaces.

Other things to note

Rules & Logistics

A security deposit and photo ID is always required. No gatherings or parties please, it is grounds for immediate eviction without refund. We do not rent to persons aged 25 and under. You will have 24 hours after booking to provide ID. The security deposit is refunded in full if there is no damage or no breach to the house rules. You are required to provide a list with the names and contact for all the guests staying at our property during your stay to comply with the Government of British Columbia’s COVID Short Term Rental Order for contact tracing

Parties or gatherings will result in immediate eviction with no refund for unused nights.

Parking- There are 2 parking spots for the house in the attached garage. Additional street parking available. Parking on the sidewalk violates local bylaw. Please do not park backwards on the road in front of our house either.

Shoes - This is a shoes off home.

Hot Tub - Temperature kept to your liking. If the hot tub is abused and excessive cleaning is required, the fee is $150 to clean and refill the tub with fresh water. The hot tub is serviced every Wednesday between 8 am and 6 pm.

Pool - has automated chemical maintenance. Temperature also kept to your liking! It closes for the year on October 10 and re-opens some time in April weather permitting. The hot tub is available year round.

Trash/Recycling - Please take waste out to the trash and recycling cans in the garage. Trash day is Monday. Put BOTH the bin out Sunday night as collection happens early Monday. 2 cans are provided. One is designated for previous guests that may have checked out after garbage day. The other bin will be left empty for your use. If trash is left inside the house upon departure, a fee of up to $50 will incur for clean up from inside. If more trash is left than will fit in the single bin assigned to you, an additional $50 fee will incur for dump run. The dump isn’t far, Google Glenmore Landfill for the address.

Occupancy- The local bylaw of adult occupancy at 6 adults is enforced. No parties, events or unauthorized gatherings and should you breech these rules, you will be forced to vacate the premises without a refund of unused nights.

Outdoor Noise - We have neighbors although not really close. Please keep outdoor noise reasonable at all times and low after 8pm. Failure to keep the noise at a reasonable level will result in eviction. This is a zero tolerance policy.

A NoiseAware Sensor is installed inside and pool side to monitor noise, please google this for more information. This system does not monitor conversations but rather noise decibel levels. Police will be called for non compliance (ie parties, gatherings) Typical noise like kids and music will not trigger the sensor, excessive circumstances such as a party, will.

Visitors - Visitors are limited at this property. Please message me in advance. Unauthorized people in the home will result in a cancellation to your stay.

Laundry - Please feel comfortable using the brand new washer and dryer. The buttons are very sensitive, please don't apply much pressure.

Kitchen Use - Enjoy using this brand new state of the art kitchen! Included is an induction stove top, double oven, microwave, dishwasher and large built in side-by-side refrigerator plus drink cooler. The kitchen is outfitted very well for large groups.
It is against the rules to cook with pungent smelling seafood and spices (such as curry) in the house. There is a side burner on the BBQ, please utilize it for such activities. If you are considering our home in the off season when it’s cold, please don’t book this listing if you plan to cook indoors with pungent smelling food. The cost to remove the smell is $175 for the Ozone machine plus labour then any cost to delay incoming guests (each room takes 8 hours to treat) -additional cost could potentially be hundreds more. It happened here, incoming guest complained -hence the note in the add!

Outdoor BBQ - Please feel comfortable using the gas BBQ located on the upper deck next to the kitchen.

The extras - There is a golf cart included at no additional fee. However, if it is out if service we do not supply a refund since this is provided without charge. We also have a few stand-up paddle boards and boogie boards with the same stipulation.

Board games, books, puzzles, toys, pool toys and more are all available at your request.

No smoking inside the property. Please smoke outside with the doors and windows closed. If the house smells like smoke at all, the charge is $500 to remove it.
No unattended children in the pool or hot tub. No glass around the pool. Plastic cups are provided but please bring disposable cups as a back up.
No parties. A party or unauthorized gathering will result in eviction, full loss of your damage deposit in addition to legal action for additional damage. Missing or damaged items (within reason, you will not be charged for regular wear and tare) from around the house will result in a charge (receipts from our original purchase will be provided)

Note** For your safety the exterior and garage are monitored by security cameras**

Please understand these rules are here to protect this beautiful home. I put them in my add as a recommendation from Airbnb to make clear to people considering a party that this isn’t the place to throw one! We have a family, our kids are loud and energetic and we expect you and your guests to have fun! These rules are to protect us against excessive circumstances.

The home has a separate, locked off rental suit downstairs with its own private entry on the opposite side of the home. The tenants in this suit do not have access to the amenities including the pool and hot tub. The suit is equip with a substantial amount of additional sound insulation for both foot steps and voices so no need to adjust your noise levels for them unless you are right in front of the locked door that joins the suit! Our home was built to accommodate guest as a whole house or, in two separate areas.

I moved the Okanagan in the summer of 2018 with my husband and two sons. We have thoroughly been enjoying all that our community has to offer! In the summer we can be found hiking or on the boat and in the winter we juggle between hockey and the ski hill. I travel a lot and have a family. With that in mind I have included lots of extras to make your stay more comfortable:) I'm proud to say that this home has diverse mobility features! I hope our guests feel included and independent with these additions I made to the build :)
