Fall asleep under the stars in this picturesque geodesic dome, by the Hiawassee River. It has space heaters, portable AC, heated blanket and wood burning stove. No central heat/air.

Highlights include: +\-1 mile from the AT and High Shoals Falls, a victory garden, park, & 10 min. drive to Brasstown Bald.

Tiny Dome has fresh linens, towels, queen bed, mini fridge, microwave, kitchen cart, & mountain well water.
Bath house, shower, sink, & laundry is 100 ft. away. Enjoy safe Glamping in style!

The Tiny Dome is one of our three unique spaces as well as our two Airstreams at The Glampground

The Tiny Dome includes a heated blanket, Big Green Egg Grill, mini fridge/freezer, coffee pour over, filters, electric water kettle, plates, mugs, and a microwave.
Please source your own food, coffee, and drinks.

There is not running water inside the dome. There is a Bath House with a toilet, shower, sink (to also wash up your dishes), and laundry to be shared with the two other Airstreams, located 100' from the Dome. It is a shared yet private and very safe secure area.

Staying in a Geodesic Dome is a full sensory experience: Watch the flow of clear mountain water or the bright stars from your queen bed. Listen to the crackling fire when it’s cold outside, or sit outside by your fire pit and hear true white noise as the rushing river runs right beside you! (There is a bit of highway noise, but it really doesn’t distract from your privacy). Smell the fresh mountain air with a subtle scent of a campfire and plethora of floral scents from the garden just across the river! .Taste the smoked rainbow trout, you’ve maybe caught yourself, in our Big Green Egg. And finally, feel yourself exhale, relaxing into your true nature.

Please be aware Glamping is not for everyone! You are outdoors, in nature.

You will see bugs (inside and outside), you may get cold, you may even lose cell service. Please have all house rules read and Wi-Fi saved and ready to put in your devices (which we hope you don’t use other than to take photos!)
If you are questioning if this is the right fit, please reach out to us before you book. This is a rustic meets modern amenities accommodation. Ideal for guests who want to spend the day exploring the local areas and have a comfortable space to rest at night. Also, for those that want to play in the river all day and rest at night.

Moody Hollow is a forgotten cove, lost in time, made of circa 1950's cabins. We often refer to our street as the Magical, Mystical, Mossy, Moody Hollow. You will find gardens, swings, and friendly faces, if you walk down the end of the road and make a right you'll end up in the park area, just on the left, past another set of gardens. We live in an inclusive place that accepts everyone. High shoals Falls, Blu Hole, etc are all within hiking distance or just a short drive.
