Converted from a stable/garage property in February 2012 this property couldn't be more central allowing guests to get here by train, plane or bus and easily explore the city on foot.

The accommodation offers spacious loft living/dining/kitchen accommodation on the upper floor which is accessed by a short flight of stairs.
LIVING AREA: Relax on the comfortable sofa as you watch the wall hung Smart TV or chill out in the deep armchair in front of the French window while reading. Wireless internet provided free of charge.
DINING: A small table located beside the kitchen area window offers the opportunity to sit and re-fuel.
KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated fridge (with freezer compartment), integrated dishwasher, hob and oven.

A generous double bedroom, ensuite shower room and seperate cloakroom are situated beneath, on the ground level.

BEDROOM: The sumptous double bedroom is located on the ground floor. The large kingsize bed was chosen with your comfort in mind and the built in wardrobes offer substantial storage for your holiday outfits. An ensuite shower room is located off the bedroom. Towels and Hairdryer provided.

Guests are welcomed by host and a supply of Finn flapjack, fresh milk and fresh orange juice, complement the stock supply of tea and coffee.

Your mews holiday accommodation is located in the heart of Edinburgh's West End village, just around the corner from Princes Street. Haymarket rail station is a short ten minute walk away and the new tramway will speed passengers from the airport in about twenty minutes to the stop called West End Princess Street just minutes from the mews accommodation.

William Street enjoys a a variety of shops, bars and cafes that will suit all holiday budgets. Further high street shops are a short walk away in Princes Street and George Street offers shops such as Anthropologie and Hollister ending with Harvey Nichols on St Andrews Square. Yet your holiday accommodation is surprisingly peaceful, allowing you to enjoy the sound of the bells of the nearby awe-inspiring St Mary's Cathedral.

We suggest.... you wander round the corner to the coffee shops on William Street as the perfect way to start your day from Monday to Friday. Or enjoy a wonderful weekend brunch along at Indigo Yard.
Within minutes you will be standing in the shadow of the magnificent Edinburgh castle. You can choose to walk past it towards the historic Grassmarket or climb up the Mound to the Royal Mile where the castle proudly stands at one end with an easy walk down towards Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament. Once you've got there you might choose to climb the iconic Arthur's Seat, a hill with an umissable view of the city. (Did you notice that there's been no talk of transport yet? Your accommodation is so central that public transport is rarely required!)

Or if you prefer to get off the beaten track turn left instead of right and wander around the New Town where you can admire the fine architecture on your way to the Modern Art Gallery. After inspiring your creativity wander along the Water of Leith towards Stockbridge - a mellow and dreamy walk that takes you to this small community buzzing with cafes, vintage clothing and artisan shops.

And if this all sounds a bit too laid back then head to George Street for an evening of high class eating and clubbing - hey if the Opal Lounge was good enough for Prince William we're thinking we might give it a visit....
