We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. Your 1.5+ hour interactive nature experience with the bees begins with a multimedia overview of the life of a bee. You’ll see a hive and learn how to hold a frame (without squishing the bees -they don’t like that). We’ll get suited up. Light a smoker. Do a safety check, and approach the hive. At the hive you’ll see and feel the power of propolis (a supplement for humans as well) -- its the glue bees use to seal up the hive. We’ll lift the lid and go inside. For some, that’s might be as far as they want to go. But, if you’re adventurous, we will do a complete hive inspection: Pull frames to see how the bees create honey and keep the colony alive. You’ll see open “wet cells” of nectar that are still in the process of transforming into honey. You’ll see capped honey, tiny freshly laid eggs and all the stages of bee development ( larvae, caped brood, and newly emerging “baby bees”). I’ll show you how beekeepers help control pests (other insects and diseases) and keep the bees healthy so they can do their important work. You’ll hold frames of bees and feel the weight of a full frame of honey when compared to a frame of bees. There’s always time for selfies. You’ll sample honey & enjoy a cold beverage sweetened with honey. This is Ecco tourism with some of mother nature’s most important workers.

Conocerás la abeja melipona sin aguijón y podrás degustar su miel y aprender un poco mas acerca de la polinización y la vida y costumbres de este insecto declarado recientemente por la ONU el ser vivo mas importante del planeta. Tras la visita emprenderemos al melipona río nos dirigiremos a nuestra unidad de manejo ambiental para conocer de cerca las actividades e iremos por un sendero en la jungla hasta llegar a 200 metros a un magnifico cenote subterráneo donde podrás zambullirte y nadar en sus aguas iluminadas y cristalinas.

Then, Jose´s mom will show you how to cook in our local style, having the opportunity to understand when, why, and how we prepare each dish. Finally, we will enjoy tasting the different plates that we prepared and, in that moment, when we are laughing and sharing our personal stories under the rhythm of drums, you will realize that the simple act of eating assumes mystical dimensions and has the power to bring strangers together like family. At the end of the day you will know how flavors, music and dance tell the story of the desires and struggles of our African ancestors. This experience focuses on the difficult process of making a cigar. From the hand of an experienced cigar roller we will learn to make an examplar, we will explain all the specificities that accompany the process of making this product, from the time it is grown, until it reaches your hands. This will be the perfect time for our CIGAR CHALLENGE, after which we will reward the best cigar roller of the experience. After choosing our winner (special ceremony included), we will go on to what we consider to be an authentic ritual: the smoking of the habano, action that we will combine with other delights, giving way to an excellent pairing among cigars, rum and coffee. And then, SURPRISE, a second contest!! We will be competing among each other to select the person who manages to keep the longest cigar ash, and the one who best performs some other tricks we will be teaching you. This is called: LONG ASH CONTEST. At the end of the experience more gifts will come, and that is because we do not want you to leave without taking with you souvenirs related to this experience, so you will be bringing home with you some amazing memories but also little things that will forever remind you of Cuba. Our first stop will be at one of the most picturesque cenotes in the region. Here we can snorkel, jump from cliffs or enjoy a relaxing natural pedicure. We will be on our way before the crowds arrive towards a beautiful cenote off the beaten path. Here we can enjoy the peace of the forest and observe nature. I will provide information about the cenotes and how they formed, a bit of Mayan history and tidbits about interesting wildlife. We will enjoy: - snorkelling inside a stunning cave - taking lots of photos among the rock formations At this point we are going to be hungry so we will head out for a delicious local Mayan lunch included in the price. To end the day off we will visit a final cenote. It is unlike any of the others in topography and wildlife. We can: - snorkel in the mangroves - observe a variety of fish species, crabs, eels and resident crocodile - birdwatch - paddle board/kayak for an extra cost *This is an eco friendly tour, using biodegradable products and reusable/recyclable containers for food and beverages. We are the first and original jungle tour in wave runner in Cancun. The experiences it’s a jungle tour in jetski. If you book one jetski you will follow the tour guide in your own jetski, you will drive the jetski in the lagoon side, the mangroves and later we will go to the caribbean sea and we would do snorkel at the meco reef for 30 minutes, (if you don’t want to be the 30 minutes of snorkeling we have to come back to the marina) at the end of the snorkeling its time to go back to the Marina. It’s a 2 hours tour: 45 minutes to go. 30 minutes of snorkeling. 45 minutes to come back. The price is for person, no for jetski. Individual jetski 2760 mxn Shared jetski 1380 mxn per person. The clients have to pay 15 usd per person in cash at the Marina for the dock feed. Example: If you are 2 peoples in 1 jetski you have to book only for two peoples. If you want to drive only 1 jetski for 1 person, you only have to book for two peoples. If you only book one person you would shared the jetski with the tour guide or someone else who book another jetski. Rules: You have to be at the marina half and hour before start for the check in.
