“The island of Koh Samet located off Rayong is very popular for its sandy beaches and turquoise waters. The island is part of a National Park and has remained relatively wild. Most of the roads are dirt roads. You can make nice walks along the coast and discover small beaches full of charm not very busy.”

“If your thinking of getting the ferry through to the island of Koh Samed, this will be the most budget friendly option. Private Speedboats also leave from this pier, but you will have to book these in advance. Alternatively just ask us, and we can suggest how to book a speedboat to pick you up right outside your villa.”

“Tamnanpar water park. A great place for a family holiday. It is especially interesting to spend time with children. For children there are many water slides, several pools of different depths, very beautiful views with cave labyrinths. It is necessary to visit here. The price of entering the water park is 200 baht per adult, 100 baht per child. Here is a fine restaurant with good prices.”

“This is probably Rayong's most unique eatery. Also known as "The Jungle Restaurant", this gem blends into the verdant surroundings with its modernly nature'ish design. They have also recently opened up a connecting spa with a small, excellent water park. Must see!”

“The local national park is called Khao Laem Ya and is located on the island Koh Samet. It’s an area of around one square km. There are mountains covered with forests right down to the beautiful beaches. Prices: Take the ferry from the town of Ban Phe to Koh Samet for around 100 Baht, but access is easier from the sea, so rent a speedboat for a more convenient trip. A speedboat costs from 3,500 to 6,500 depending on size and number of seats.”
