Fellini's is quite close, less than 10 minutes' walk from my home. It's a small Italian restaurant, with very tasty food, and suitable for evenings when you don't feel like cooking and don't want to go too far from home. It's a good idea to check in advance if they have a table, however, as they are small and can be very busy at times.

A very nice place for breakfast or lunch. I like to go there for a relaxed brunch on Sunday mornings. Suitable for vegans, vegetarians, and people who need gluten free or lactose free meals.

This good Thai restaurant is just five minutes' walk from my house, on Newtown Park Avenue (they also deliver). They have an early-bird offer of €19.99 for two courses. They serve wine and beer, but you can also bring your own bottle (for a small corkage fee). Their Penang curry is delicious!

On the north side of Dublin, you can get there on the Dart. A fishing village and exclusive suburb of Dublin. There is a great buzz in the village, with fishing boats and yachts, good pubs and restaurants, Irish music, and a great cliff walk. One of my favorite places to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Parks & Nature
Sea-side suburb and busy harbour, around 25 minutes walk away. Nice walks or jogs on the pier, or along the sea-front. Check out Teddy's ice-cream at the end of the East Pier or in Sandycove. Good restaurants and pubs in town, also shopping. There is a farmer's market in The People's Park on Sundays.
