Scarisoara ice cave – the biggest underground glacier in Romania.
Location: Scarisoara Ice Cave is found on the premises of Apuseni Natural Park in the Ghetari Hamlet at the altitude of 1165 m. It pertains to the Ocoale – Ghetari – Drobresti karst system.
Attention!: do not mistake Scarisoara Ice Cave for Scarisoara Locality that is found on the main road between Garda and Campeni. You cannot reach Scarisoara Ice Cave from Scarisoara Locality.
