This is the entrance point for visiting the Panama Canal. You probably won't spend a long time here, but it is a very interesting attraction. You will get to see a ship pass through the locks and there is also an interesting museum detailing the history of the canal, which is also related to how Panama became a republic.

A great mall with almost anything you would want or expect. Excellent shops, varied food options, a cinema with VIP screens, a supermarket, all in air conditioned comfort. The mall doesn't open until 10am, but some of the cafes are open earlier than this.
