The Old Market of Chania is the best second place after the Lighthouse. There are four sections. The cheese market, the meat market, the fish market and the spices' and herbs' market. It was built and founded in 1913 by our great Cretan Prime Minister and Politician Eleftherios Venizelos. It used to be the merchant center in whole Europe!
