Take the funicolar from Como central to see some spectacular views, there are some cafes and restaurants once you get up, then Follow the signs all the way up to the Lighthouse (Faro Voltiano) - it's pretty steep and takes about 45mins from the cable car station at a slow pace but well worth it for the amazing views of Lake Como and surroundings.
