This isn't a country club, so if you're looking to golf in high end courses, I suggest Naples! This isn't the place.

The Koreshan Unity group was a religious commune that made Estero their home in 1894.
Together they built and operated a printing facility, boat works, cement works, sawmill, bakery, store and hostelry.
They were an integral part of their community with an emphasis on education, science and art which helped to shape the surrounding communities. After the death of their leader in 1908, membership declined. In 1961, the remaining members deeded 305 acres of their land to the state of Florida as a park and memorial. The Koreshan Unity Settlement Historic District is on the National Register of Historic Places.
A unique and interesting experience. (To experience the whole park, expect to stay for 3 hours or more)
