Hiking
There are so many hiking trails to explore in Highlands National Park there is no wrong trail to take ; ). These are some of our favourites.
Middle Head is the point you see from the Bunkie. This is a very well-kept trail with beautiful look outlooks along the way. Craig and I do this weekly :)

Worth The Drive
Nothing we recommend is far from our place. We are lucky to be in a centralized place that can act as a hub to sooo many things Cape Breton has to offer. These are just a few.
The skyline trail is one of the most renowned hikes on the Cabot Trail, it's breathtaking. It's about a 1hr drive to arrive at the trail.

Green Cove has a special place in our hearts. As a part of Craig's film career, he produced a documentary about the Mother Canada Monument. This site is on the way to Neil's Habour and Skyline Trail.

Take the Coastal Route (turn @ Neils Habour)
When you go North from our place you will have the option to stay on the Cabot Trail or to take the Coastal Trail. We highly recommended you do this at least once for the epic views his drive gives you that the Cabot Trail doesn't.
You turn into Neil's Habour to do this.
It will add time to your travel so you will want to account for that.
