The galleria is the 4th largest mall in the USA. Great for shopping, exploring, meeting people etc. In addition to the food court the galleria also contains many independent fine dining restaurants and fancy hotel restaurants, which are a few tiers above the delicious but not elegant food court! With plenty of pop ups around the mall area along with seasonal festivities including year round Ice skating rink (one of the handful of Houston rinks). It’s the perfect setting for a date, business lunch, to bring the family or to just kill time, you can’t go wrong with the galleria!

Getting around
It is crucial to have transportation arrangements in Houston - it’s a top 10 US largest city by means of both population and sq miles! When considering both the sheer size/space of the city paired with the lack of convenient public transportation (already unappealing given the current global health status), transportation by a personal vehicle is a near necessity, with the possible exception of lodging and staying downtown. Uber is an option, but quickly gets pricy..especially during rush hour(s). Speaking of rush hour, I advise to avoid highways btw 4-6pm, its smarter to wait, I promise!
