My great-grandfather washed dishes at The Grand in 1890 for 50 cents per day plus room and board. From this humble beginning, our sheep-turned-cattle ranch was born. Today, the historic hotel and restaurant offers both fine dining and a bar menu to all welcome travelers (and several 5th and 6th generation sheepherders and cattle producers).
