Aside from that the beach is beautiful and a lovely place to spend the day. Well located next to Boston Jerk Centre so lunch is a no brainer

Frenchmans Cove is one of the loveliest beaches I know, its is breathtakingly beautiful and the sea water can sometimes feel like a warm bath here.
And for those who are not keen on sea water, there is also a white sandybottom, freshwater river that gently flows in to the sea. It is colder than the sea water, but if you stand in the right place in the river you can feel the warm spring water bubbling out of the ground and swirling around your feet. There are swings hanging from the Almond tree over the river, its a really nice place to have a cocktail.
There is waiter service and free wifi at this beach. the downside is that you have to pay around 800 Jamaican dollars for entrance ( $6 or £4)
