Concert goers. Beat the traffic by staying in East Austin at Casa Willow. You are hop, skip away and then you can hit East & West 6th Street, Rainey Street, Holly Street Entertainment Districts to nightcap the evening after a great concert or game.
Texas Legislature in the beautiful Pink Dome, termed for the Capitol's pink granite. Tours, and you might just catch some "sausage making" if the Legislature is in session. Take the bus from Cesar Chavez to Congress, and walk the historic Congress Avenue to the Texas Capitol.
