Food Scene
Not at all biased because it's my families pub... but this really is a GEM of a place. The walls are like a permanent exhibition of local and maritime history, so you will never be bored. There's such a friendly atmosphere, always banter from the bar staff and customers, so it's easy to pop in on your own, and not feel alone. A great opportunity for travellers. And of course, the FOOD! Lots and lots of seafood, from freshly shucked local oysters, the most delicious fish soup and beer battered fish and chips, that is light, crispy and just all round delicious!. Music every Sunday evening, and outside during the summer time. I hope you love this place as much as I do.

Sightseeing
WW1 Military Fort overlooking Cork Harbour. If you happen to be here of a weekend during summer, it's a must visit. Unfortunately, the visitor hours are limited, (Sat & Sun, May - Aug) but the view alone at the entrance to the Fort is worth the short walk from Crosshaven village. Inside is a myriad of tunnels, passage ways, underground artillery storage rooms, parade grounds and lots more. All steeped in a rich history that will leave you awestruck!. There are often battle reenactments, exhibitions and lots more going on. Check out www.camdenfortmeagher.ie for the latest info

Parks & Nature
If you fancy a swim, this is probably one of the best local beaches. Although it is a small sandy beach, it is a sheltered horseshoe bay that is perfect for a dip. Gets very busy on hot summer days.
