Antipodean Cafe only uses quality coffee beans roasted at our own Cafes by Indonesia's top specialty roaster, Merdeka Coffee. Why is our coffee so good? Because Merdeka Coffee only purchases coffee beans directly from our partners, who are small-holding growers, rather than going through the brokerage system. At Antipodean Cafe, we work hard to offer a uniquely "antipodean" style cafe food menu. Our favorites include a BLT on sour dough bread, double salmon fish cakes, Burmese shredded chicken salad and of course a range of delicious and healthy breakfast choices for all ages. Yut Kee Restaurant has been serving up traditional Hainanese fare since 1928. It is one of the oldest kopitiam names in KL and is also one of the most popular breakfast places to go to for both locals and tourists. It was previously located along Jalan Dang Wangi (just a right-angled turn from its current premise) in a very old and run-down coffee shop space that had suffered decades of wear and tear.
Now, Yut Kee’s new home is a residence-turned-commercial shophouse on Jalan Kamunting that’s clad in a lucky shade of red.

The restaurant offers authentic Bak Kut Teh and is popular among the locals here. It offers a sophisticated setting and remains open from 5.30 am to 12.00 am. The restaurant has both air conditioned and non-air conditioned sections. The waiters offer an excellent and hospitable service. There is an outdoor section as well that offers a pleasant dining experience under the open sky. The servings are delicious and the portions are moderate as well. Selling at affordable prices, the restaurant also offers stir-fried dishes. This is a non-halal restaurant.
