If you want Mexican food you won't have to go far. Veronica's is quite good and very inexpensive. They have sit down or take out. Open M-Su 7:00am - 8:00pm.

Alpine beer is part of the delicious 'craft' beer scene in San Diego. Famous for their delicious IPA's, Alpine is a great place to go for some good beer and conversation. Just about 10 minutes South from the Ranch off of Highway 8. My favorite is the 'Duet' IPA.

I love Barons Market. It is kind of like an upscale Trader Joe's. There is a good selection of local wines, beer, baked goods, and a solid selection of food items. Everyone is very friendly and you'll have a good time while shopping there!
