Twin's Disco. Good place to dance. But make sure you have some coffee, the crowds don't show up until 4 in the morning! There's a floor dedicated entirely to Kizomba music.

You must go to Beira Mar restaurant. It's our favorite. Fresh fish and has wonderful "lapas": a very typical kind of seafood which you can not leave Terceira without tasting it. Goes very well with "Terras de Lava" wine, a wine produced in Pico island.

Casa de pasto O Pedro. This restaurant's owner is soooo nice and portions are huge! Better be hungry when coming here. Very nice fish and meet, as "lapas" as well.

Cheese factory "Vaquinha". A visit here is almost sacred when going to Terceira. Cool place to go on your way to "Cinco Ribeiras" beach area. Here you can taste as much cheese as you like and trust us, it is very good. The factory is opened and you can see it.

But, it's worth not only because of its beauty but also because of the swimming pool aside for children. Free entry as all bathing areas in the island.

Very close to the "natural swimming pools" bathing area "Biscoitos": a place to visit and enjoy too, this smaller bathing area is less crowded and astonishing beautiful. Although it doesn't have lifeguards.

Wonderful landscape. To go on a sunny day and with chance you'll see other islands far away in the sea. Don't be scared about the satellites installed there. This is the island's highest point.

Here you can feel and see the hot volcanic air coming out of the ground. Quite amazing.

This is a cave. This visit can be associated with the volcano visit "Algar do carvão" ticket. Better have comfortable and closed shoes and mind that inside is cold.

We pointed this place not exactly because of the litle fortress but for the Riviera beach nearby, that you may find on the left of the maritime port. This sand beach is very calm and a in a certain way hidden from the big sand beach that you may find in Praia da Vitória. We love to go there.
