ATMs and Money changers
If you can, Exchange money before you arrive. While there are ATMs, they may run out of money. Money changers don't give the best exchange rate and there isn't the enough competition. (edited 29-Oct-2019)

Banco Chinchorro
It is highly recommended to book trips to Chinchorro in advance. We like Amigos del mar in down-town Mahahual for a professional and safety conscious trip to a pristine atoll. The trip lasts all day and must be reserved and paid for in advance with refunds given for cancelled trips.
