This is great to experience the creme de la crop of Icelandic cuisine. One of my favourites is the bacon lobster sandwich at Rarbarbarinn. Other great option is Skál.

Being a hostel the bar at Kex has a great mix of locals and turists, very often there's live music or concerts there. Food is excellent as well.

Great little hill with trails between the trees, great for walking, running, view over Reykjavík. You'll find some history between the trees and some art as well. On the other side of it there's Reykjavik's artificial beach, Nauthólsvík.

Great for walking, jogging and if the sun is shining you'll find a shelter from the wind between the trees for a picknic. In the center is a museum and a coffee house.
