It is a coffeehouse with a used books store next to it. Lovely setting for a brunch or just for a coffee. Lovely atmosphere and also offer great food. Highly recommended and walking distance from the house.

Situated next to the Place de Neuve, the Parc des Bastions is a bubble of nature in the city centre. Along its promenade lined with trees, this park is home to some of the finest monuments in the city. It also has several life-size chess sets. 15 minutes walk from house or few minutes tram ride from Augustin to Place de Neuve.

Along its promenade lined with trees, this park is home to some of the finest monuments in the city. It also has several life-size chess sets. 15 minutes walk from house or few minutes tram ride from Augustin to Place de Neuve.

There is a very large selection of beers on offer. The food is very very good (I recommend the BLT and Fish and Chips). Menu has has everything that a British pub would offer. There are around 7 screens around the bar and one big projector screen, so no matter where you are you have a view sports on TV. Walking distance from the house.

One of our favorite activities on the weekend. Since 1970, each Wednesday and Saturday (flea market), and also every first Sunday (food and farmers market) of the month, dozens of market stands showcase their precious objects, street food and farmers produce to the public.
