Our Favorite Restaurants
Please be sure to check ahead for closings and hours related to COVID-19. We've tried to post notices on each business here if they are currently closed. So far we've only lost one permanently (Farewell, beloved CAKE Cafe). There are several favorites for us around New Orleans. From our current neighborhood, to the French Quarter, to our former neighborhood in the Marigny; there's so many places to visit!

We always enjoy the food, service, and beverages at Tableau. It's on the corner by Jackson Square and The Cabildo. If the weather is right for you, we highly recommend the balcony for beautiful a sights and sounds of the French Quarter. It's also the only place we've seen where you can get a bottle of Henriot at the price you'd pay at the bottle shop! Extra wonderful!

Just opened recently by a couple friends of ours (they used to run Cafe Amelie) and it's great. The chef (Jerry) continues his awesome talents on this menu. We recommend the Cochon du Lait.

Just 4 houses down!!! This place is filled with character and it's our local waterin' hole! Can't say enough how excited we our to have our neighborhood saloon within crawlin' distance!

I've heard it's not for the faint of heart, but if you can mind the main rule of service in NOLA ("Be Nice or Leave") then you will do just fine. Don't leave no valuables in your car if you're driving here though.... and seriously be nice. MUST - HAVES: corn grits, and daiquiris.

If you love visiting Zoos in cities, then this one is spectacular. Recently, a new lion exhibit has opening and everyone's "roaring" about it! :D

This one is on our list to visit and have an overnight stay. There are grown men and women in this city who freeze solid when you mention "The Myrtles" and they refuse to even set foot there... seriously, they afraid!!!
