A great local place in Fairplay; breakfast or lunch; but get there early... closes at 2 p.m. and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Delicious food -- including Mexican food (small portions available) and delicious burgers with Colorado beef. Best bacon around for breakfast and terrific biscuits and gravy! Great service and good prices, too.

Lovely setting and you may see big-horn sheep on your drive there. About 30 minutes from here. Beautiful daytime drive.

A terrific store for souvenirs, home-decorating items and gifts. You'll find items here at lower prices than in some of the bigger tourist towns. Western feel. Good service. One of our favorite places to shop for gifts and to take our guests.
