Natureland is the primary wildlife rehabilitation place for native species in the top of the South Island. Great place to take children. You can wander round at your leisure then relax while the children play. On your way around the zoo you will see a variety of animals, you can pat some of the more friendly ones and feed others as part of the experience. Check the website out for current pricing. If you like fresh milk then take a wander over to Oaklands at the corner of Suffolk and Saxton Roads where you can buy farm fresh milk direct. You can either buy a bottle there or take one of your own to fill. Oaklands milk - - nothing added and nothing taken away – it’s pure, fresh, wholesome milk as nature intended - comes only from A2 tested cows which may improve digestibility, especially for those who struggle with dairy intolerance. - is not raw milk and it is not homogenised. It is pasteurised - is Fresh from the farm to you.
