TOP TOUR.
Walk to Åmot farm, up the tractor road to Bygdastølen, over the bridge and then follow the marked path towards Svoleset. The path upwards is both well and nicely marked. A blue mark and easy to move forward. From the top there are great views to Voss, Myrkdalen, the stables and the whole mountain range around.Family-friendly top tour, with great views of Myrkdalen. On the top you have a great view of the famous ice-rivers such as Hardangerjøkulen, Jostedalsbreen and Folgefonna. If you are lucky, you can also see reindeer.
From Myrkdalen Fjellandsby you go on a marked path via Helgatun (where the cabin is located) and Vetlebotn to Finnbunuten. From Vetlebotn, you continue the Kari Traa trek (the ski lift furthest east).
The trip is relatively long, but family-friendly on an easy walk. From Myrkdalen Fjellandsby / Helgatun, there are 900 height meters to the top, from Vetlebotn there are 650 height meters. In order to shorten the trip some can drive to Vetlebotn (700 m) and start the trip there, the road up there is a road.
