On the biggest and longest Macedonian river, that flows to the AGEAN SEA and also flows in the middle across the CITY OF SKOPJE and divide the city among the SOUTH (Municipality of Center is in south part of the city) AND NORTH PART (where the old part of the city, called OLD BAZZAR is located .OLD BAZZAR is also a part of MUNICIPALITY OF CENTAR) OF THE CITY there is one of the famous place in Skopje known as KAMENI MOST or STONE BRIDGE, which actually connects SQUARE OF MACEDONIA AND OLD BAZAR- two parts of the city that are two different worlds, two different civilizations, two different cultures and ARCHITECTURES.
On the NORTH SIDE of the BRIDGE, the ethnic culture that dates from 14 century is presented and on the SOUTH SIDE of the BRIDGE is actually DOWN-TOWN of Skopje and modern or urban environment with many shops. caffee bars. restorants, trade centers and many other things, that makes urban and modern/contemporary life.
About its meaning talks the facts, that this BRIDGE is a official SYMBOL and OFFICIAL LOGO of the City Of Skopje.

The canyon is home to several HISTORIC CHURCH AND MONASTERIES as St. Andrew's Monastery is, which is situated in the gorge of the Treska River and Matka Monastery, or Monastery of the Holy Mother of God, built in the 14th century.
Matka Canyon is home to a wide variety of plants and animals, some of which are unique to the area. Roughly 20% of the plant life found at Matka is endemic and only found here. The canyon is also home to many kind of butterflies.
The canyon is one of Macedonia's foremost areas for alpine hiking. Also the Kayaking on the Treska River is a popular activity, as are fishing, hunting, and swimming.
For this sightseeing there is a organized boats, which make routs for an hour, along the lake and canyon.
P.S.There is restorant and caffe bar also, for changing impressions of the tourist that visited all this atractions along the river.

P.S.From the apartment to millenium cross, there is a the simplest way, to reach over there. Actually the name of the neighbourhood is the same as the name of this Park, Vodno. Outside the building, where the apartment is, on the distance of 20 meters, there is a bus stop station, where the bus for middle Vodno stops on this station and for 10-15 minutes, you can be on the Middle Vodno, from where is GONDOLA LINE, MIDDLE VODNO-MILLENIUM CROSS.

The MILLENIUM CROSS is not just SYMBOL that represent Skopje and it is known for many strangers, but this construction represent one of the biggest Religious/Christian Symbol in the world and it is situated on the top of the mountain of Vodno, which is above of the city on the highest point of that mountain known as KRSTOVAR PEAK.
This SYMBOL and TOURISTIC ATRACTION and maybe a proud of many citizen of Skopje, was built in 2002 and the path to it is devided in two routes. The mountain of Vodno is divided in two parts. The first destination is to Sredno Vodno/Middle Vodno and the name tells that it is the middle of the mountain to the path on its top point. To middle Vodno, the people can reach with cars or with special organized public transport that is organized three times through the day and in this part of explaining the MILLENIUM CROSS and the ways how to reach to it, it is good to say that the station bus, where the BUS NO.22A stays is just 10 meters from the apartment and that line is to Middle Vodno.
From Middle Vodno, to the Millenium Cross, which place is called the TOP OV THE VODNO or same it known as KRSTOVAR PEAK, there is a GONDOLA/ROPERAILWAY and for only 7 minutes it reaches from MIDDLE VODNO to MILLENIUM CROSS. These is the only way, how the people who wants to see one of the biggest Symbol in the world, which is 66 meter high and it is situated on 1066 meters. The price for whole transport is about 2 euros. For Bus transport from city station (in front of the Atractive Area Apartment is) to middle Vodno it is about 0.50 cents and from MIDDLE VODNO to MILLENIYM CROSS by GONDOLA it costs about 1.50 euros, but it is valuable to be seen, because it is one of the main Symbol, landmark and Biggest Structure which can bring valuable memories in the whole life:]

Skopje Centar went through total reconstruction, that was done in MEGA PROJECT called SKOPJE 2014.Many new building were built, some of the buildings/objects that were destroyed by catastrofic earthquake that happened 26 of July 1963 were built again in this project and finally many buildings/objects that were in Contemporary and Modern Architecture style, got new BARROK FASADES, so Skopje got totally new look.
There were build many monument from Macedonian History and central place of all these monuments takes the monument of Alexander The Great, which is located on the capital city square, SQUARE OF MACEDONIA.
