With over 500 000 visitors per year, Josone Park is one of the most popular attractions in Varadero. This nine hectares park, located in the center of Varadero, was established in 1940. In this serene tropical oasis you’ll find a lush tropical vegetation, many colourful birds, a beautiful artificial lake, a swimming pool, a kids playground, a bowling alley, a sugar-cane juice stand, a mini-golf course and boating on the lake.
You can also find on-site a few bars and 4 restaurants: El Retiro (International cuisine), Dante (Italian cuisine), La Campagna (Creole cuisine), and Gruta del Vino (wine bar and Seafood restaurant).
Many Cuban girls dressed in glamour dresses come to Parque Josone for a photo shoot when celebrating their 15th birthday (quinceañera), and also couples for their wedding pictures. It's also the perfect location for business dinners, receptions and banquets.
