A magical place and an excellent alternative to the Eden Project. Especially when the weather is good. Probably better for family events than Eden.

Nice house and gardens, very close to us. Probably the nicest, and cheapest, thing to do is walk around the outside of the estate. Park in the National Trust car park and walk down to the beach. You can then continue through the woodland path up to the King Harry ferry and, from there, back up the hill to the car park.

A hidden local gem with picturesque woodland walks through the historical site of an old gunpowder that was abandoned over 100 years ago and which has since been reclaimed by the wood.

Very nice National Trust estate that has a great garden with a lovely walk down to the Helford passage. There is also a maze, which is good fun.
