The Philharmonie de Paris is the new musical heart of the capital. The new building was designed by architect Jean Nouvel.
During the day, attractions include the Musée de la Musique and its temporary exhibitions. In the evening, music lovers can opt for a concert at one of the three concert halls. One of the most impressive, the Grande Salle with its exceptional acoustics, can host up to 2,400 people in orchestra configuration.
The Philharmonie de Paris is also a welcoming place and ideal to walk around or to have lunch at the Gourmandises de l'Atelier or the Café des Concerts, or dinner at the restaurant Le Balcon.
