It's a great place also if you're looking to do some work, it has a great indoor/outdoor space. Definitely work checking out! Oh yes, they have the BEST croissant, try the everything one!

Union Market
1309 5th St NEThis is one of my favorite places in the city! It houses some of the best + local food vendors in DC. It's also a really cool spot to just grab a drink and hang out outside. It's super family friendly, so if you have kids, I definately recommend going here! The Oyster bar is amazing in here + the ramen is a must! Honestly, it's all great!

It's a quick drive/Uber away. On a nice day, you can definitely walk. The drinks, vibe and food are outstanding! Please get all the pasta!

My condo is located in Capitol Hill, and is a short walk from the US Capitol building, the Supreme Court and Library of Congress. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk down East Capitol St. The US Botanical Gardens are close by too. The H Street trolly is a 10 minute walk away, you can board the trolley for free on H & 12TH ST NE. This takes you to Union Station which can connect you to all of the other incredible Smithsonian Museums + Monuments. There are also Capitol Bike Share bikes right near our house if you choose to bike.

I love this Museum. It is one of the very few you have to pay for, but I think it's totally worth it.

The arboretum is one of the most beautiful spots in the city. It's free and has so much to see! It's really kid friendly too. I absolutely love the bonsai exhibition. You can ride bikes or talk a long walk through the stunning grounds!

My favorite shop in the entire world, seriously! This is a must visit if you are into well made, beautiful crafted items from ceramics to clothes to apothecary. The customer service is out of this world, even if you aren't in the market to buy anything, just go to look around and experience the hospitality. I warn you, it's going to be hard to leave without feeling tempted to bring the whole shop home with you!
