Small museum just down the road, in walking distance. Has a stunning garden/park with hundreds of diffrent types of rhododendrons. The museum itself is beautiful and has the only authentic Rembrandt in Denmark.
A must see- and a place to visit many times. It has diffrent exhibitions, live music on many fridays, classical concerts, interesting talks (in Danish though..), fantastic view of the water, and a nice cafe to have a nice meal to affordable prices. If you appriciate art then this is the place. Five km from my house, and the bus stops in front of the museum

Frederiksborg Slot is an old, beautiful castle. Other than this it holds the National Portrait gallery that hosts diffrent exhibitions. Absolutely worth visiting.

Fours stops on the train. Nice, cosy old part of Denmark. There is a train connection to go along the northcoast, which is well worth a sunday expedition.
Many restaurants and cafes in Helsingør. You can also catch the ferry to Sweeden from here. It is 20 minuts on the ferry and cost about 50-60 kr. Go to Helsingborg for the day!
In Helsingør there is 'the little brother' of the little Mermaid, in Copenhagen. The version in Helsingør is made by the famous artduo Elmgren and Dragsted.
You can also visit Kronborg in Helsingør, which is known from Hamlet.
Just before going to Kronborg is Kulturværftet which holds many concerts. Check out their website, www.kuto.dk. r

The Queen lives here in the summer. Wonderful park around the castle. Worth a visit for a good walk.
